Z06 head room

Guys, thanks for all the help. Just a couple more questions. I am 6 feet 4 inches tall am I going to have a problem getting into a Z? I fit fine in the coupe but I have heard that space is limited...never been in one. Advice please. Thanks

I'm 6' and have a fist left above my head. I would think unless you're all toso you'll fit fine. My buddy who's 6'4" and a big man fits comfy enough.

You might have a little trouble getting in but once you are in you will be fine. I am 6'3" and have no problems.

Best way to find out is to find a Z06 or an FRC and give it a test fit. That way you will know whether the adjustments you can make to the seating position will be comfortable for you.

I believe that the 03s and 04s have extra padding in the headliner going across the B-pillar so you may lose an inch in headroom.

I am close to 6'6" and I was able to drive my buddies 03

I am 6'5". I find it not to bad to fit into the Z06. I would say you will be fine. Takes a little to get used to... Dont sweat it...

I had a 6' 6" friend test-drive my wife's '01 Z06 prior to ordering a new one in '03. He fit fine in my wife's car, but when his '03 arrived he couldn't sit in it without hitting the headliner. He ended up installing the liner from an earlier model.

A lot will depend on whether you're "long legs" or "long torso."
