Brake dust
Recently, I had to replace the front rotors and pads. They installed AC Delco ceramic pads.
The decrease in brake dust is amazing. Before, the wheels would be almost black after a couple of days. Now, there's hardly any dust visible at all. And there's no decrease in "stopping power" that I can detect.

Ceramic pads are good at keeping the dust down. Good choice.

Dust STILL THERE just lighter
SM will still stop without any warmup like the ceramics. I used SM and some wheel cleaner. My cars still STOPS like nothing else. Had a truck doing 30 or so pull in front of me in the interstate. I was doing about 65. I would have reshaped his rear end and my front end except for my brakes. I like stopping when I have to.
