Default GM SI Disc no longer working

I went to go use my GM Service Manual and it will no longer load up. I did a little research and found that GM has changed it so each copy of the software needs a separate user id and login or subscription. Is anyone else having this same problem and if so do you know the cost of the subscription or any other way to access it?

Its tough to no longer have access to all the manuals.

I never knew there was such a thing as the manual online - I only have the three volume anti-tree hugger version.

My copy never linked with their system. Someone else PM'ed me saying their copy didn't link up anymore. They reinstalled it and it worked stand alone. Try reinstalling yours.

Mine quit working and I re-installed it and it's ok now. I suspect that one of the many automatic Windows updates had something to do with it.

I tried installing on another computer, but still had the same problem. Did they mention if they changed any of the settings during the installation process?

I got it on ebay a couple of years ago. When it was working it was great. It had all gm vehicles from 98-2005
