Default Vette essentials questions

I have two questions relating to vette essentials:

1 - Does the two tone boots (shifter and hand brake) match the interior or the exterior colors of the car? Meaning, do they match the torch red exterior or do they match the lighter red of the interior?

2 - Are the boots easy to install?

Any help would be helpful! Thanks!

The leather used is the same as the Corvette interior. I just received a light gray shift boot which is the exact color of the interior.

The install is so simple that even I can do it although I am dangerous with any tools in my hands. I am not merely "mechanically challenged" but mechanically ignorant and have little courage to potentially screw up my car.

Ken King will talk you through any install, but the instructions for the boots are a slam dunk. :yesnod: :yesnod: :flag :flag

I have a black/yellow shift boot from VetteEssentials - the black matches perfectly with the interior, and the yellow matches the MY exterior (there is no interior yellow option).

Very nice products!
