I dont think you can hook up directly to the stock radio.....Theres those RF things, they work, but not the best quality.
Ive got the Pioneer Z2 with the ipod adapter and it is pretty sweet!
I hae been thinking about doing this. Does it hook right up to the stock radio? I already have amy satallite radio hooked up,will that interfere?
Just curious....has anyone ever posted directions on how to do this?
Thanks
I don't know if it's compatible with a satellite system, but the easiest hookup is if you have the oem cd changer in the rear. Unplug the cd changer, plug in the interface and run the wire for the ipod up to the front. Best $100 and 15 minutes I've spent. There's been a recent thread with LOTS of posts. Search "ipod2car", I believe.
Bought mine on EBAY. Run a search for this item.....Peripheral PXDP iPod2Car Apple iPod Car Adapter Kit NEW....It took about 3 hours. A little tuff getting everything behind the radio. The only thing you can see is the cord to the IPOD. You can control the IPOD from the radio and it also charges it. Well worht the time, money and effort.
