I have a 98 silver c5 6 speed with the sport seats.
The car has
-Filter
-Borla stinger two tip
-z06 sways
short shifter
-black z06 motorsports
108,xxx miles
The car was parked outside the house the other day when it flooded in houston. The car got water in the passanger footwell and damaged the pcm. Once i get a different pcm the car will be as good as before.
Apparently the insurance didnt want to take the chance of trying to find the issue ( took about 15 minutes of research and 10 minutes of labor ) so they called the car a complete loss.
What should i expect to get for it with a salvage title if i was trying to sell it?
You dont know yet what kind of future problems you will have with the car. 12 to 13k may be a good price for the miles with a rebuilt title if you can get it to run well and have all the electronics work well. Just my opinion. Good luck.

Thats about what i expected. I have gone through and inspected all the wiring harnesses and fuses. All look good- its just the bcm that was acting up. We stuck a bcm from another friends 97 into it and all the electronics worked without any sort of issue what so ever it just would not crank since the bcm was not programmed to the key we have
I just dont want to let the insurance have this car, its extremly clean and i know they will just auction it off to get torn apart
