Hey all! My friend has a 99 A4 with a wierd problem. When the ignition is "on" (not started) or when turned off the interior lights (dash, radio, door panel, etc.) remain on, like normal until the key is out. However, when car is started and driving , ALL the lights are out. Anyone know the solution to this?

Doesn't sound like anything is wrong at all Buddy - Courtesy interior lights all come on prior to turning the key to start. Depending on when and where he does it. Does he have "twilight Sentinel" turned on through the DIC options?

not the courtesy lights I am talking about- dash, radio(clock is on), and door panel lights do not come on when driving (car started/on).

That was the first thing i tried and the **** is turned all the way clockwise before clicking into the map lights. It's not a control panel problem.
