BPO206- the Hurst is not available as of yet but the Ripper is a great seller.
As far as a comparison, the best I can do is compare the two shifters between Trans Ams and Camaros. We have installed many of each shifter on each car. The difference is minimal at best. Both are precise, short throw and reliable.
Both emit little to no noise. The Hurst when it comes avialable will be a fine shifter, but the Ripper kicks butt for now...

I have a Hurst shifter that they were nice enough to send me for a trial, we took it apart and now I hope to install it when I get back from vacation, I have a B&M Ripper in the car now, I will let you know.
