Default LAPD Head&Cam results!!!

The results are finally in. With a set of the TFS heads and a 228/230 112 cam, plus bolt-ons, It ended up at 444rwhp and 413tq I was looking for a cam that gave me power throught the entire powerband, and boy does it I can't be happier. Now I just got to start saving for the new clutch and a set of 3.90's. Thanks to all the crew @LAPD

That's sweet! Those are almost identicle to Keith's Z06!

Dude! those numbers are fantastic

You'll definetely smoke my Vette now!

Now I'm going to have to go with my plans to supercharge the Vette

Great numbers I'm glad you're satisfied, now I need to check it out all put back together!

Enjoy it and look out for that new Mercedes 6.3 Litre AMG 510 HP thing running around on the 118 Fwy, it's black and it's the brand new one, you might just have to smoke him too (like I did )
Thanks,Matt

Thanks Matt! He has a larger cam, but I had the electric water pump and underdrive pulley. One of these days we'll run into each other.

Nice numbers bro!

This brings up an interesting question me and another member were talking abou tonight. Would a ZO6 and a M6 coupe turn out with nearly identical numbers if you put the same heads and cam in them? After all the HP increase in the Z over the coupe comes from a different set of heads and cam right?

That's an interesting question?? I've seen bolt on and cam Z06's at 420-425. I guess alot depends on how big the cam is. I know of a similar car to mine, but a Z06, and I think I had about the same hp but a little more torque. The cams are different though.

So you have a coupe right? and have around the same results as the ZO6 with H/C swap? Cool

Those are great numbers. What about smog? Will the cam affect your getting through a test station?
Driving your Vette must be a real rush now.
