Hi all,
I was asked if the local university could use my 98 vert to drive the schools mascot in the Schriners parade. Has anyone had any expererince with people sitting on the cover for the convertable top? Thanks for your assistance!
I've had the president of Butler University (here in Indianapolis) and his wife sitting on the top cover of my 2002 vert for Butler's homecoming parade, and didn't have any problems. Naturally, they were sitting on towels.
An oversized beaver I thought that was the punchline to about a thousand jokes Just use a towel and you should be fine
I agree, I thought it best to just leave it alone..... One thing for sure, a person doesn't have the opportunity to chauffeur an oversized beaver in a parade very often, I probably wouldn't worry about the weight limit....
Oooops! I guess I wasn't thinking clearly about that response. I will have to post a picture once the parade is over! Thanks for all of the "legitimate" responses!

I was trying to help, but I got to laughing too hard. You may want to bring the passenger seat all the way forward if you don't have any other passengers/beavers with you for a little extra room. Have fun
u shouldnt have any problem....ive had alot of different people on mine at different times ..from very small to a pretty good size guy ....none of them compare 2 one of the guys in our club he had a girl that went somewhere around maybe 275 or even more .....it made me shiver just looking at it ......turns out she was ms oversize or something like that .....just ask up front how heavy they are .surely they will understand...
It's not a bad idea to have your "guest" remove his shoes. Unless he is being lowered from a helicopter, he'll have to step on something leather to get up there. Most guests will understand.
