clutch seems hard

why does my clutch seem hard to push in after just a few minutes of normal non agressive driving??????

What color in the fluid in the clutch master cylinder reservoir?

If it's anything but clear and clean, suggest you start by changing the fluid in accordance with the procedure here: Taking Care of Your Clutch

Doing that is a first step. Takes an hour or so and costs about $10.

thanks Ranger, I changed fluid yesterday, not bad but not good either. I will change every few days until perfect fluid and then follow the protocol you set out. Thanks again.

Except for the unique Corvette, a normally soft pedal turned hard usually means the clutch is on its last leg.
