I know that tire selection is a very personnal thing and this topic is covered several times a week but I have not been able to find a comparison of tires and road noise.
I am getting ready to replace my tires and I am looking at several factors.
Performance for track events (HPDE)
Daily driving and wet road handeling (I live in the NW)
Raod Noise - the SC are getting very noisy.
I have narrowed my selection down to 3 tires:
Toyo Proxes T1R ($800)
Goodyear GS-D3 ($1000)
Vredestien Sessanta ($750)
I have seen several comparisons for tire performance but have not seen much on road noise.
Any help on how these tires are on the noise level?
Get the GS-D3's. Great everyday tire with supurb wet road holding. Can't say much about track events but I do autocross my C5 with the GS-D3's and they are definitely better then the OEM runflats. Can't compare them to the Supercar tires since they are usually on Z06's and I'm in my F45 almost stock coupe.
