Its not recommended to do that but I have and it did not affect anything. I had the OEM EMT's on the front and GS D3's on the rear until the fronts needed to be replaced. Reason I did it is because I couldnt afford to replace all four tires at the time.
I have the exact same situation and I was told by an EMT certified shop that it does not matter. So, I am seriously considering waiting 'til the fronts wear out. The only thing keeping me from doing this is my curiosity: I'd like to get the full effect of totally ridding myself of all the EMT's all at once.
You have to have the same on the same axle. Due to different rubber compounds used in different tires they recommend having the same on all 4 as the difference will make for different handling in curves, etc. I have put on different from front and rear and have had not problems. I guess that it's a judgement call. Do it, if you notice a problem with the handling be prepared to change the other tires also. Good luck.

Reason: tires
Some people will only go with the run flats. If the fronts are almost new, you could sell them here on the forum for a good price, as they are very expensive tires. Then use the proceeds from the sale and what you were going to spend on the new rear tires and get a complete set of new non run flats. I’ll bet you could get almost as much for the “almost” new run flats as a new non run flat would cost.
