ok my digital volt meter reads 13.5 had my windows all the way up and when i press the up button it drops to 10.8 i have recharged the battery but everytime i get in it it's like the battery almost dead but it still starts.''kinda slow''.which could it be?
How old is the battery, a cell might be going dead, as for the window even thought the window is up the motor will still try to run thus pulling power. It is not good to push the buttons for the window once up or down as it might cause a premature failure.
Sounds like battery to me. Measure voltage with car off, a 12-volt battery will measure at about 12.9 volts when it’s fully charged and about 11.4 volts when it is fully discharged. A load test is the true test of a battery, most stores that sell batteries will do one for free. A dead battery should be fully charged before load testing.
Most auto stores will test your alternator for free also, but you must take it out of the car and bring it in to them.
