Temp gauge issues
Howdy my 02 coupe has never had any issues at all - until today. 1st my original battery died so i replaced it, this afternoon. Then i took the car out for a spell, to make sure the battery was charged. Thats when i noticed my temp gauge was pegged at overheat, i was only 3 blocks from home so i continued home. I then shut off the car and restarted it - the DIC shows 97 degrees for about 10 secs the gauge shows the same and then the temperature gauge goes to overheat and the DIC shows XXX any suggestions would be appreciated - i am taking in tomorrow to the dealership as i still have warranty, but i am baffled
