Default Pics: Interior on Fire!!!

Here's a series of pics in the order that my buddy Mark, aka forum member "ZO6KLR", airbrushed the flames on my interior pieces.
He did an incredible job and the pics really don't do them justice.
Mark has one of those rare talents that I guess you just have to be born with. There's just not many artist out there that can achieve the "tru-fire" look at the level he can achieve.
Even though I watched the entire process, I still don't clearly understand how he accomplished it...
All these pics are before the clear coat was applied.
I just picked up the finished pieces after being clear coated and they look even more amazing! ... ...

The 1st step is an "Orange Pearl" base coat

2nd step applying "Candy Apple Red" over the orange

Next is a shot after another coat of "Orange Pearl" was applied over the previous coat of "Candy Red"

"Candy Tangerine" being applied over the "Orange Pearl" in the last step

Here's the completed step of "Lemon Yellow" that was added next

Applying the next color "Candy Tangerine".

Following up with yet another coat of "Lemon Yellow" on glove box.

Here's the door panel after the first 7 steps were complete.

Next he's applying a coat of "Candy Gold"

Here's the panel after being sprayed with the "Candy Gold".

Next is a mixture of "White & Yellow" for some high lighting being applied

White/Yellow highlights completed

Touching up with "Candy Gold" again

The completed panel after the "Candy Gold" touch-up step

Glove box after the "Candy Gold" step

Here Mark is applying a coat "Purple Pearl" to the glove box

Here's the door panel after the final coat of "Purple Pearl" was applied

Mark's finishing up by touching-up the flame licks with "Black" in this shot, which is the final airbrushing step in the process

Door panel complete except for the final clear coat steps

Over-all shot of the completed pieces before being clear coated

The only thing more real would be to pour gasoline on the fine Z and set it on fire

That is incredibly cool !
