Default Tire pressure system service message help

I cant get it to go away! Ever since my new tires were mounted at Goodyear, the message in my DIC says "Service tire pressure monitoring sytem".

The weird part - it reads the pressures just fine, with the exception of LF tire. I believe this is because I tried to relearn the TPS's to no avail, but it started with left front tire.

I got a 100lb magnet, cant get the damn thing to beep. At goodyear, where they have a part to do this, they couldn't get it to beep either. Chevy says they'll need to look at the car, starting at $80 diagnosis.

I must be missing something, all I want is for the warning message to go away, or if something needs to be fixed, ill fix it. Any suggestions?

Replace the LF one and see what happens.

Did the Goodyear store perhaps break the LF sensor? If so, you will get the message you are seeing.

A dead sensor... either damaged or with a dead battery will not activate so the system will show a blank or no reading on the DIC for that tire. Have Goodyear carefully remove the sensor in question. Check it for obxious damage. If there is none...you'll have to suck it up and replace the sensor. Then I'll bet you'll be good to go. If you discover it was damaged and you can tie the damage to being inflicted during the tire installation...go after Goodyear for replacement cost.

I'll check the pressures, then come to goodyear about the new LF sensor-good idea. Where exactly is the sensor located?
