Default ABSFixer does it again

Well I just recieved my repaired EBCM module from Brandon (aka ABSfixer) installed it and ... after resetting a few codes all my error codes have gone away.

Thanks also to Trussme for his step by step instructions.

$150 plus whatever shipping mode that you would like.

It's pretty straightforward removal and the re-install is a breeze once you know where the 6 screws came from.

Default New to Forum

Hi, I am new to the forum, I was searching the web to see if I could find out what was wrong with my 2001 Vette, it only has 39000, miles on it, and now I have a Engine Check Lite , that stays on all the time, and the act hndl warming up, comes and ( sometimes) it will go off, and I alerts me that it is warmed up, and sometimes it never goes off.

Nothing unusual has been done to the car... no maintance.. it does need an oil change,

I would appreciate any "Try This"... I have not had a code reader hooked up, I should get one, but dont know a good one to buy.

Thanks in advance for any help, I will give the instrustions to my husband...

Your car has a built in code reader...

get in the car, close the doors, turn the ignition on, push "reset" to clear any messages. Then, with "options" held down, push "fuel" 4 times. That puts the car into diagnostic mode.

IT will start going through all the codes, i forget which buttons let you go up and down in the list, but E/M will exit the mode, and Reset will clear any codes.

You'll see codes with a letter than numbers "C1214 CH" , the "C" at the end means its currently happening, and the "H" just means its happened in the history of X number of ignition cycles (i think). Some codes may only have "H", might mean they're intermittent.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum
