I stopped at a Detroit area Chevy dealer (George Matick) when I noticed a Yellow 02 ZO6 in the showroom,it had a $5,700 mark-up on it,is that typical of pricing on 02 ZO6's?
Seems that you can get a 02 ZO6 for $1000 under MSRP at some dealers,I guess this dealer will be sitting on that Yellow ZO6 for awhile unless a sucker walks in.
I would never pay above sticker for any car.
Dude, in Detroit there's not way you should ever pay over sticker for a Vette. I mean come on, Les Stanford has about 3 new Z06's a week and I know Jack Cauley is constantly getting them in so it's not like they are a rarity.
I can't believe someone would mark over 5700, jesus they had an EB at Lou Lariche and they were asking sticker....
In the Bay Area of California they want as much as $15K over - not much budge. I got mine from back east for under MRSP. You just need to keep poking around.
I was looking at a yellow '02 at a Honda dealership in Sunnyvale, CA (SF Bay Area), and they wanted $56k for it with 4k miles! I told the salesman, "Uhhhh...you realize these cars are $50k brand new with zero miles on them, don't you?" "No way!" he said, "they're $60k!" Whatever.
I'm most likely going to get a brand new blue '02. Anyone here in the SF Bay Area have a blue one I could take a look at? I have two customers with red ones, one with a black one, and one with a silver one...
I'm in Santa Clara, if any of you blue owners would like to stop by!
