Well, he showed up, looked at car, wants it. He's going to call me tomorrow and make an offer. We'll see what happens. If no sale then I'll cruise to t-birds.
I really like that FRC but think they want too much $ and don't want to pay sales tax buying through a dealer. That's a couple grand right there!

Well the first guy never called back. I have his # but haven't called him.
Had another guy look at the car just now. He wants it but only has $5K cash. He can get a couple more grand but would have to go to bank for rest. He says he will call me tomorrow after going to bank. Said he just sold his C3 ('77) and wants mine by this weekend for a meet inTemecula. We'll see.

Just got a $1K deposit on my C4! Yeeha! He will bring balance tomorrow (he was worried that someone might come by tonight with full amount!)
I am going to wait before jumping into another car. I want to sell my '34 ford hot rod first and will have it at our SuperRun next weekend. Then i'll start really hunting and try to figure out what I want (vert, FRC,ZO6,coupe?). May wait until late fall and sellers in snow country start to really deal on price.
The dealer was working me hard today when I took my Avalanche in for service. They started trying to get me to look at new C6's with base models going for mid $40's.
