My jury is still out on these but in case anyone is interested, I found a link for a turn-signal indicator incorporated into a convex mirror many people put on their cars in order to remove blind spots.
What do y'all think? Part of me says "tacky" given it's offered by "Sky Mall"; the other part says, "cool!" What I do not know is how "thick" the thing is.
The installation appears to be simple, the lights are solar powered and connection is wireless and does not involve cutting wires.
Kind of like women at a bar. We all need to park next to this guy. Our good looking Vettes will stand out. People will sit there and "Boo" his car. Just having some fun. It's your car. Do what you want.

Besides, everyone knows that the cool mod is to skip the mirror treatment and install cove lights that sync with your turn signals.
How do you know if you have heated versus non-heated mirrors?
it's probably an RPO code but i don't know.
once i took my stock mirrors off, i saw they had wires pluged into a grid system that was the heating element. i always thought i had non-heated mirrors but i guess i didn't!

Quick search on the web tells me the RPO code for heated mirrors is DL8.
