Here's another option. I didn't want to give up run-flats, but wanted to improve my ride. I also wanted new wheels (C6ZO6). So I went with the Firestone Wide Oval Run-Flats (from TireRack) in C6 sizes, on 18/19 in. wheels, of course. These tires are a big improvement over OEM GY's, much quieter, much smoother, still have the peace of mind of run-flats.

Just put on Michelin A/S ZPs on my '03 Vette. They are noticeably quieter, the ride is greatly improved and they handle much better than the Goodyears. Bought them at Costco online and had them drop shipped to my local Costco. Costco techs installed, balanced the tires and did a great job. They appreciated the lift adapters that I have. It made it easier to lift the Vette. They removed the rubber feet on the lift ends placed my adapters in the slots on the chasis and taped the lift ends so my adapters wouldn't get marred. These techs were terrific.
