Well, after lurking around here for a long time, I finally got my car.My mind was made up it had to be a MY convertible with a 6-speed.Trust me or ask the wife I spent many hours looking and checking. I wore Kelly Blue Book and NADA out. Funny thing is that a certain Magnetic Red kept popping up. The Wheels, The INTERIOR, the exaust system, the car. Why was this car still available. I finally asked the wife, do you like this red vette. She said yes. Well it just so happened that my brother was going to San Fransisco to go see the Cubs-Giants baseball series and got him to go and check out the car for me. I got ahold of DAYCRZ and set it up. MY bro checked it out and all he could say was "your gonna like this car". Me and DAYCRZ talk and made arrangements for me to buy the car.Between him and me working with 2 different unions and getting temp tags to drive it back we got it done. On Friday before labor day I flew to Oakland and met DAYCRZ at airport, went to his house and checked out the car. His sweet wife Sandy got us lunch and we enjoyed a little time together. He told me about his Buyer Experience at Bowling Green the week before. Dan could not have been any nicer to me and this was my great experience. This forum is really a fantastic tool and all the members are very helpful and have lots of feedback on any issue. Driving home those 2050 mile got me to learn about my 2001 magnetic red convertible. I couldn't be happier. Most Midwesteners don't do much modding but this one is a show stopper. As I type this DAYCRZ is driving his new 2008 red convertible home from his friday museum delivery. Way to go Dan.
