Thanks Steve.... ...sorry you couldn't make it...
Believe me, I know how it is about work commitments coming first... ...I've missed quite a few shows this year for the same reason....
Hope you can make it to next years event...

One question though.... How did you get your tail lights to look like that? They look awesome! Are they just blackouts?
I appreciate the comments Matt...... those are the Blackouts I purchased from Richard @ "Corvette Enhancements"
Here's a couple links for you:

The red horizontal stripes that are showing through area the result of using a fill-flash for that particlar shot, seen below.

Here's how they normally look without added light.

Fantastic shots as always Jim. I missed you guys this year over Labor day at the NCM. I guess I have to hope for next year to make this show. Still trying to sell the house and make our way down.

NICE!!! As always Jim. A photo of your car by itself with those red/orange flowers behind it would look great. It sets off the flames!

Thanks Paul, sorry I couldn't make it down to the Labor Day Event...
There was a car show being held here in town that weekend that I had already promised the promoters I would attend...it was the first show for them here and wanted to help support the local cause...
Best of luck to you guys and hope to see you soon...keep me posted on the progress...

Wow!! Jim once again great pictures! Beth and I had a great time in Paducah. The city has a lot to offer and we were blown away with all the history in the city. The down town area on Saturday night was just awesome. Kandace recommended "Does" for a great steak and she was absolutely right. We had the two pound T Bone and WOW!! it was great. The chocolate cobbler was also tremendous. It was great to meet all the Paducah group and we really appreciate the hospitality and fellowship. The Corvettes were all very nice, but for us the stars of the show were all the really nice people we met. Congrats to all that won awards, they were well deserved. I left Paducah with many ideas that will help take Slik (the car) to the next level.

See you next year!!

Hey Jim, thanks for sharing some awesome pic's of the show. I was hoping that you would show some pic's , i just didn't have time to take any. On behalf of Four rivers corvette club i want to thank all of those brave corvette owners for coming to the show. We had 129 cars and i think if the weather would have been better we would have had at least 170. A special thanks to fellow forum members Dave & Beth, SLICK and Jim, Shoribs for taveling so far, those are 2 of the most awesome cars that you will ever see. I hope you had a good time in Paducah and will try to make it back next year,it was a pleasure meeting all of you, maybe we'll see you at funfest.Congrats to tjo5c6,TJ and got vet ,Brian and vettes4funs wife Cheryl for winning trophys in thier class and congrats to you Jim for best of show. The interior is awesome and i know it will look even better when it's finished.
Again,Thanks for the pic's and support....
IRV

P.S. I just found out that we raised about 5,000 dallars for our charity,
thats AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again
