Changer is not working. Luckily it is coverd by the GMPP. The local Chevy dealer has put 2 different units in and both were bad. The service advisor called GM, he told me they told him "yeah we are having a problem with that unit"! So if anyone is having problems and they are covered get em in.

12 CD changer and err on the radio display
Mine gets intermittent use. If I don't use it for a few months (radio tuned to traffic for a DD) it sometimes won't load or play a CD. My solution so far has been to take out the magazine, make sure none of the CDs are binding (I usually remove all sleves and then replace them, and then replace the magazine and let the player cycle thru all 12 sleeves. Sometimes I have to do this twice before the beast works properly. Think it gets stiff from lack of use esapecially in the winter.

I thought mine was bad for over 6 months 'til I put a new battery in... Then, wah-lah!! No problems. If your battery is a bit suspect, try that first before getting a new changer.
