Template needed for exhaust enhancer
I'm thinking of having a couple of exhaust enhancer plates punched out at work. I can do them in either stainless or aluminum, and thought it might be fun to have a couple of different things/emblems/stickers/engraved images on them.
Can someone send me by fax, snail mail or CAD drawing the size and shape of one of the commercial plates? You can send to my email address, or PM me for my fax #.

I used the dimensions I found from one of the vendors plates, 4-1/2" x 7-1/2". I had our shop cut me one from 1/8" thick aluminum and radius the corners, then I shot it with QuickSilver.
We already have the word Corvette out back and I thought the crossed flag C5 logo was too common place so I came up with what is pictured. Problem is the decal that was sent to me was missing the letter "O" in the word "of". I didn't think "f" America would go over very well!
I have since thumbnailed that decal off and picked up a couple of blue bowtie emblems. I'm considering sandwiching one between my cars name, Plain

Does that area get hot enough to bother the decals or the paint?
Do the plates that have the "ears" on top, rather than a rectangle, look better/fill the area better?
Anyone have dimensions or a tracing of a plate with ears?
