Default Storage - Rims and Wheels

I just purchased a set of stock C5 rims with run flat tires already mounted. I do not anticipate placing these on my car until next year.

I am storing the rims and tires in my garage on their sides on top of each other (four feet high). Is this the proper way to store these rims and tires?

Yes. Cover them to protect from UV's and hope they are not near any electric motors that run.

I have a mountain of track, drag and auto-x wheels stored the same way and never had any issues.

If placed on concrete....place a peace of cardboard on the ground first....I also dont keep full air pressure in my rims when stored on my bike or pony...

That's the way I always stored mine. I put a piece of cardboard in between each tire/wheel and also had an old rag covering the face of each wheel.
