I just purchased a set of stock C5 rims with run flat tires already mounted. I do not anticipate placing these on my car until next year.
I am storing the rims and tires in my garage on their sides on top of each other (four feet high). Is this the proper way to store these rims and tires?

I have a mountain of track, drag and auto-x wheels stored the same way and never had any issues.
If placed on concrete....place a peace of cardboard on the ground first....I also dont keep full air pressure in my rims when stored on my bike or pony...
