I went to my buddys garage the other day to install my new straight pipes. (Car sounds great!) Anyways we were ready to put the vette on the lift and we realized it was not going to work. He called up his buddy from the local chevy dealer and he said that you need a speacial arm to put the C5'S on a lift. Is this true? if so why would chevy do that. We ended up jacking the car up and changing the exhaust that way, but it was kind of a pain. Thanks Gary
Or a scissors lift or a 4 post lift. Have never heard of needing a special lift. The pucks are required in the rear shipping slots to protect the fiberglass rocker panel from the lift pads. There is enough room in the front for the lift pads to clear the fiberglass so the pucks are not required in the front.
