New mods(pics) and new problems

Then, yesterday I did the drilled and slotted rotors. Everything went great until I had to pry the back rotors off because the parking brakes were locked onto the rotors. Completely ruined both sides. Put an order in with Gene for new parking brake kit. $300 frickin bucks!
I started thinking "You got an A4, what do you need a parking brake for?" But then came to my senses.
Tucked the cable up nice and neat so I can drive her until I get the new E-brakes in. Here's pics of the rotors.

This forum is costing me a fortune in mods. Good thing I'm putting in lotsa OT at work and doing more lessons lately. Of course the more I work, the more mods I seem to "need".

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

does anyone know where the headlight door control module is? from the looks of the service manual there are two inputs on it, one for "close the doors" one for "open the doors" I'm hoping the way it works is put 12V on the "open the doors" input and the doors open and stay open as long as that signal is there. when you put 12V to the "close the doors" input the doors close and stay closed as long as that signal is there. in that case some relatively simple wiring (few relays and a couple of diods) and the control circuitry can be completely redone. it should be possible to skip the original factory wiring and create a circuit with two outputs, one goes 12V whenever either the high or low beam light is on, and one output goes 12V when both the high and low beam are off. this will eliminate the factory bulb out reminder, and also cause the headlight doors to close automatically if you switch from headlights to parking lights without turning the lights all the way off. this is a good thing in my opinion! if I have the problem, I'll work on this solution. I hope I don't get plagued by it though.
