Advice re frontal impact standards
Any Corvette gurus out there who can aswer this question please
US vehicles imported to New Zealand need to meet FMVSS208 standard, this is the standard NZ govt recognise.
What year Vettes meet this standard...
I dont want to import a vette next year and find it doesnt meet the standard,

I used my insane google abilities to come up with interesting info, but nothing conclusive. There are many recalls aimed at 1997+ C5's mentioning changes in order to conform to that standard.
One thing is for sure, if a 1997 model doesn't meet standard, a 2004 model or any in between probably wouldn't either... and vice versa.
From the few articles I read, I would be surprised if it didn't meet the standard.
