Default Convertable Vette Net Question

I know one of the vendors is selling the old model at a great price. My question is about the new ones. One of our other vendors states that the old model works better if you are tall and need the seats to go back all the way. So..... the big question, will the new lower model hamper the seats from going back all the way? Thanks, David

We have the new version of the Vette Net and there is no problem of the seat going all the way back. We preferred the new version because of its lower profile. Driving on the highway with the windows up and the Vette Net installed is a great improvement over not having a Vette Net. My wife and I can carry on a normal conversation at 75 MPH while at the same time listening to the radio.

I am 6 ft and have the new version net. I found that if I put two wine corks in the tubes ...one in each it holds the net up enough so it blocks more of the wind. Try it, its easy to get the corks out if you don't like it...just use a cork puller lol

No difference in mounting or seat position...

I tried the cork trick with the newer net several months ago and was not happy with the result. Logically you would think the wind would be cut down significantly, I didn't see big results and the net rattled quite a bit since it wasn't seated as well.
