Looks nice! I would not dare put that kit on a lowered car, those intercooler tubes would be toast in no time! I am surprised STS did not route the tubes up in the wheel wells like they did for the rear of the car?

i agree, not only that i dont know why they put the oil return fitting facing directly down instead of on the side where it cant get damaged

Are you talking about the oil fitting on the turbo? That needs to be at the bottom to get all the oil out of the turbo or actually to keep fresh oil in. I know there is a pump to help get the oil in and out but it seems like if the fitting wasn't where it is then it could leave old oil in.

We had a drain issue on my friends honda and ended up going with a top mounted manifold since the turbo(GT42R) was pretty big and he kept having oil blow thru the seals - it wasn't draining fast enough when the turbo was mounted lower.

it took me and my brother all weekend, mostly because we were so excited we kept doing things then seeing we forgot to do somthing and had to take apart what we did to redo it, i think we did everything at least 2 times. nothing was hard just took time, and we even had a lift and air tools,

Now comes the real fun part. Taking that monster to the dyno and seeing what she throws down.

well it has a very conservative turbo tune, a friend of mine put it on a preditor for me to download, so it would run ok so i can bring it to him to dial it in, but i think he didnt want to make it too good to make sure i come there to get it right, which i would anyway i dont want a generic tune on my car especially since i left the long tubes on there i need him to set it up right, but it still feels so much faster then before, though i feel like i dont have as much torq in the low rpm maybe because i have long tubes, no cats and no mufflers, maybe i dont have enough back pressure, i dont know, i will wait till he tunes it to find out where i stand

What did you do with your stock radiator shroud ? Toss it out, or cut it to fit around the I/C ?

I've an idea I'm gonna try on mine. Remove Ln. plate cover, and ram some air directly onto I/C and radiator/condensers via custom ducting ... covered by surface wire screen that matches other front screens.

i have seen some people do that i dont really like the way it looks, the car is running pretty cool around 210 which for here in s fla is cool it was running around 220 or a little highter before i did the install, so its actually running cooler without the shroud the intercooler has a plate on the top of it that traps the air and helps it circulate in that area
