Trying to line up insurance for my just purchased 99 FRC. I have two quotes one from Grundy International, and one from Classic Auto insurance. Both quotes are with the same insured levels, and both premiums are within a few dollars of each other. Does anyone have any experience with either of these two companies good or bad. Speaking of bad I have to get insurance quick so I can go turn some corners !!

I'm in the same boat. Never having a claim of my own doesn't "test" the performance of an insurance company. But I will say that club members that HAVE told of good service from Grundy.
Unless you crash into your place of work, how would they know that you were driving there? I'm pretty sure they are just trying to avoid insuring daily drivers.
I use Hagerty and it is only $500 per year for the Vette. Had a claim on my 79 Formula once and they fixed things with no questions and no rate increases.

No experience with the two you mention. Had USAA up until this past August when they increased rates for policyholders in Missouri but prior to that they gave great service.
Have Farmers now. No claim history but were cheaper on the insurance than USAA.

I must be truthful-sorry .......my King knows my heart!
I got a qoute from Grundy and they don't care how far or how often but only for pleasure, shows, parades etc.etc..
Sometimes it is called insurance fraud ....not being a jerk here, but the price of being caught in the wrong would be high.
Is this your only car or why wouldn't you just add it to your regular policy, they usually give multi car discounts and more if you have your renters/homeowners with them too. Good luck.
