Started on my small garage (thoughts on my blue floor)
Now that the paint is started, I need to come up with some ideas. I'm thinking of some kind of checkerboard on the wall, maybe a slim boarder. Also, I have some Corvette posters and flags coming in. Thoughts? Thanks.
Also painted my sway bar which I will soon be replacing anyhow. And decided to paint over the rusty hub on my wheels with high temp silver.

Looks nice, I would get rid of the shelving and hang some white cabinets, Run some chair rail around, in the color of your choice, Maybe YELLOW and keep going from there!!
Get the Vette out from underneath all those cans....
LOL, it's actually not too close. I do plan on getting some cabinets soon like the above poster mentioned. Thanks for the compliments on the blue. In person it's pretty bold.
Keep the ideas coming. This is only step two. Painting the white on the walls was a pita last year.
Well you got Nassau Blue floor & MY vette. Both look good. What's missing is the TR wall & door. Enclose the water heater & other wall appliance. Build your cabs on that wall to give you room on the sides.
Instead of flat, consider high gloss for the walls. And get it mixed for exterior use so it will hold up better.
Mc D's seems to have a good color chart for their burgers and stuff. Seems like most C5 colors are on the menu. Does that explain the big rear on C5's?

Reason: add on
moserb, sure thing. I have a bunch of photos that I have made into posters that will be going up. Also, I want to put up an obligatory Corvette Racing flag and some other things.
Pearl, funny you mentioned that. My buddy on the forum (1KSport) has a 96 Grand Sport and he said it reminded him of his colors. He also said I needed some red...to match his interior.
I'm not too sure about how high to bring up the black border. I like it going up the wall, but, I am not sure how high it should go. You gotta excuse the lines though. I cut out the tape job at about 3 in the morning after a bunch of ripe Cali pinot noir .

Another possibility is the 78 Pace car theme, silver over black w/pin stripe. If you go more black.
Go to book supply place like Office Max or Depot. Purchase your color of choice. A couple of 2.5 X 2 ft size should help decision making. Better yet, your puter should allow you to select color choices on the wall.

sounds cool. now, if I had someone photoshop some ideas, that would be great. anyone want to help with a few color options? Possibly a checker boarder somewhere on the wall?
