Wheels.....??
I know, this isn't tires and wheels, well, unfortunately, the guys over there didn't answer my questions so I was hoping that you guys could. I want to put on a set of BFG Drag Radials out back on my 2004 Vette Convertible. I'm keeping the stock wheels and tires for vacations, I was thinking of 295/35/18's om 18/11 wheels. I would like the look of my stock originals, except that they were chrome plated. The question is about back spacing or anything like that. Can I find this type of wheel that will fit? Maybe even going under the car another inch if there is room? Will this wheel stick out of fender well? Somebody please answer, even vendors feel free, after all, I have to buy these wheels from someplace.....Thanks in advance.....bob.

So you want chrome thinspokes?? and put a DR on them? Contact Bob @ House of Wheels or check the f/s section as they are sold off and on. As far as your DR's, if it's mostly for street use check out the Nitto R2 Extreme DR. They are awesome street tire that provide a lot more grip for the strip, while the BFG's are a superior strip tire and not so good on the street, especially in the rain. 295's will fit on a factory 9.5" rim but if you're getting new rims get 10.5" rears then you can get some 305 nitto's or 315 bfg's. Hope that helps.
