My club had a show at the local Chevy dealer today. I asked for a price to have my coolant, transmission auto, diff, and brake fluid flushed I was told it would be $587.00 to have it done. Wow for that price I think I will do it myself.

At $100+ an hour>> plus the cost of the fluids>> that sounds like a standard fee at a dealership
WOW for that much I would do it myself in a parking lot!!! Or just find one of the many Vette owners with a garage!!! I'm sure a quick e-mail and a case of beer is all you need!!!
I'd probably pay to have the dealer do it too. I assume the flush of old fluids is some sort of power flush. That is especially useful with the transmisson where simple drain and refill gets like 30-40% of the fluid only. Flushing the brake lines of all the old fluid is not easy either. Plus you then have all these fluids you have to deal with. The biggest plus for me though is avoiding the huge mess that is probably going to get created.

Plus tax and shop materials that you would find out at the pay window.
