Nothing out of place for me either. I chose a portable type unit with a permanent cradle install. This makes the unit easy to move to my other car, boat, or house. I chose the glovebox to hide the cradle since I show all the time. It is the XM Xpress unit. Price wise, you can buy from any discount, electronic, or online store. Even XM used to give them to you free with a year subsciption.

Ray, there a lot of XM people out here. I installed my Commander in the ash tray. You can slide the ash tray cover over the top and not even know its there.
Use a direct connect though, not the modulator. I have the mod and would prefer the other connection.
I only have two pictures of this install. You need to get to the back of the radio to hook up and having the FM modulator makes the connection good and reception clear when it plays through your OEM radio. This FM modulator is a direct connect type. I think there is a place in the glove box to bring the wires through for the cradle which we just velcrowed down in place. The antenna was run behind the drivers seat and up around my convertible top inside. I have had good reception though the plastic body even though the antenna was inside hidden.
