Short of turning off my horn on the alarm, is there a way to keep the horn from beeping 3 times when I want to roll the windows up?
For instance, today was a nice day to have the top down, so when we went to church (worship Jesus as our Lord & Savior) I put the top up and for the 1st time I clicked the lock button on the key fob 3 times and each time I got the annoying horn beep...and yes the windows came up...btw, my driver's side window beats the passenger side up from a dead stop... my next question...how can I maintain my electric windows, cause the drivers side beating my passenger side makes me wonder if the passenger side is going bad, or just needs some TLC, or maintained...I guess I need to get the manual out.
(also, btw, my wife likes the horn confirmation when locking the doors, so it may be I'll just have to quickly off the horn on the alarm when using the valet to run the windows up, then turn horn back on.
The easiest way is in the DIC...Just turn on the silent alarm arming feature and the lights will flash but the horn will not sound when arming the alarm.
See ya,
Jim

I have learned to punch the button three times before I close the driver door. Then the horn only chirps once.
