Changing all the fluids in all the vehicles to get ready for a long snowy winter here in central Oregon at 3900 ft altitude.
Since the closest GM dealer is over 30 miles away I'm not using GM 1052884 PS fluid. Since I'm a pro Red Line Oil guy I'll be using their RL182-1 Power Steering fluid which meets or excceds both GM 1050017 &1052884 spec standards. I've never used Red Line PS fluid before but have been reassured from Red Line chemists that I'll be happy.
So to the question;
Which PS fluid is most comomly used here on the forum ? What brand of this most overlooked fluid do you recommend besides GM? I love synthetics, is there a synthetic PS fluid that has gained long term
satisfaction? (it just ocurred to me that I did not ask Red Line if their PS fluid was synthetic)
Interesting that no one here on the forum even has an opinion concerning power steering fluid let alone a PS fluid they use or recommend. Then I can only assume that no one changes PS fluid themselves? Or is it that you 'all use the GM PS fluid?

yeah seems the P/S is pretty bullet proof so any hydrolic fluid that meets specs will be fine. i luv AMSoil products, check them out!
