headers.. please help
Hello all i own a automatic 1998 black vette with intake/borla exhaust. im looking into getting more horse power out of my vette so i want to add some headers and x pipe. My question is do the headers they sell on ebay measure up with some of the name brand ones view ebay item number 140160430425 and you will see what im talking about. Or should i not take the chance and go with the name brand products that i know work. Here is the info about the ebay header read below..
These are brand new long tube headers for a 1997-2004 C5 Corvette.
These headers offer a 1 3/4" Primary, with a 3" Collector. On a stock Z06, these headers produced and additional 20hp / 20 ft / lb.
These headers are stainless steel and have a 2 year warranty. They are a very nice finish, and wont orange peel like some other company's out there.
They install in under 2 hours! Don't settle for an inferior imitation headers offered by " Hot " coating places!
THESE ARE 321 STAINLESS - NOT MILD STEEL! BEAUTIFUL LOOK - BIG POWER - HUGE PRIMARIES!

red flag 2-I know what the name and is.its SS autochrome.A kindergarten student with a tool set could make better headers than those.those headers are made half *** as well as the welds being a joke.If you enjoy welds breaking and coating that peels in 6-12 months then buy those.

Look up the long tubes from Texas Speed and Performance. They are a forum vendor. I don't know their standard rate but I got the headers and X-pipe in the $8xx range on a group buy. Install easy, look great, and made 20hp on the dyno.
