Default Nitrous Install

Hey fellas looking at doing a nitrous kit for my 02 Z... tried the search but its very cluttered...

im looking to see what power i would be putting down after a

125 or a 150 Wet N0S (nitrous oxide systems) kit
plan on running a 10lb bottle with wide open throttle switch.. what else is needed...

car put down 357/358 with a catback and intake, running rich.

thanks

I did a Harris Speed Works single nossle kit and used a dynotune controller, swith panel, heater and bottle opener. N/A I have 360/355 w/ 125 shot it puts down 472/526.

I highly recommend Nitro Dave's Nitrous Outlets plate system specifically for our car. They have a great kit that includes everything you will need. They often have package deals. I dealt with Chris and he was very good. If you want a safe system make sure to get a window switch, fuel pressure safety switch and a heater. The kit I got from them also included the remote bottle opener and an led lighted purge all run through my ashtray mounted switch panel which sure makes everything easy. I ended up getting a dynotune digital nitrous gage because it was so small and easy to hide right next to my steering wheel and I went with a jeniko.com mount because I liked the ease of removal and the look. I made 512 rwhp and 520 rwtq on a very conservative tune with a 100 shot. Here is a link to some pictures.

Nitro Dave is great to deal with. His base kits use solenoids that can support up to 300 hp shots. I also like Dynotune for accessories. They have a great bottle opener and gauges.

Here is a link to my dyno results with the NOS plate kit jetted to 100 HP. The NOS kit is great, the jetting is spot on.

How reliable are our cars with this system? It just seems for that little bit of money and that much power something will break. This is just from past experiences in DSM's lol

As long as you stay under 600 TQ you should be fine. My car put down 365 RWHP with an intake and headers (2001) and with a 150 shot it does 500/525 RW.... I did put in some 37 lb injectors because it was just maxing out at 6500 RPMs.... With 125 or below the stock injectors will be fine (or below 475 RWHP).

My next step is to build the motor but I am also considering a fully built LS7 that is available that should hit 600 RWHP NA..... Decisions, decisions!

I got my switch panel from http://www.dynotunenitrous.com, and as for clutches I have 20k miles on my car and the clutch started slipping on the first street pull after the tune. It would only slip with the nitrous because of the torque.
