Default bpp vortex ram question

how long does it take for you to remove and clean the filter if you have a bpp vortex ram system. i have one on my 2000 vette. Last time i took it out and cleaned it took me over an hour maybe i didnt do something correctly any tips would be greatky appreciated . thanks

jacking up the car took the most time. i do it while changing my oil. depending on the weather, 20 minutes tops during summer.

ok so you jack car up and you can remove from the bottom correct?

I don't even jack mine up...simply loosen the big band clamp and reach up while laying on your back and bring it through scoop....may have to turn it sideways....

thanks that is what i did first go round was remove everything whew ... thanks for your help .

took less than five mins to remove and the filter was some kind of dirty glad i got it done .. thanks for the great tips.
