Wish me luck. I need it. I am going in this morning to have my hatch paint looked at as it has the dreaded blistering paint factory defect.
I am going to print out the tsb and point out to the dealer that this defect should be covered under the 6 year rust warranty.
I'll post my results later today.

ITS BEING COVERED!!!
I sat there for a while waiting for the manager to come around and then decided to walk the lot and talk about a Trailblazer SS with one of the fleet guys. Turns out I can get it for invoice-6500. 4000 in rebate, 2500 in gmcard money. Brings it down to 24,300 or so!
Anyway then I went back and the manager got GM on the line and told him that the car was bought at a local Autoway a year ago, that it is kept very well and that it is an 02. He got off the phone and told me that they are going to order the hatch and when it comes in they will schedule me into the bodyshop and the repair will take a few days.
I am ecstatic. It makes me feel even better about buying a Corvette and continuing to buy GM products.
If you have the blistering paint problem take it in right away!

Blistering Hatch Paint
Well my 2000 C5 also has the dreaded Blistering Paint on the hatch. I called and spoke to my dealership who referred me to the GM Service Center. I called them who in turn got me a case # for the problem. I have an appointment with the dealer to find out if GM is going to pay.
