If you're talking about the magnetic ones they do a very good job of making the very noticeable silver spot go away on the side of your car.
Yes, I'm talking about the magnetic "Invisi-Lock Key Hole Covers". I'm just wondering if they look natural. Good luck against the Panthers this weekend!
I made my own. I bought a package of three magnets from my friendly neighborhood ACE HARDWARE. The magnets are 3/4" OD, but 5/8" might be better if available...someone has mentioned finding them at a hobby store.
Pick up some spray paint to match your car color and some clear. They're very strong magnets, btw.
Cost was under $15 for magnets and paint (I had clear on hand).
I notice every time I get in my car. mine don't look as good as others because they are made with 1/2" magnets, so I put it right in the center and can see some key hole around it. even so it improved the look of the car a lot! I need to find some 5/8" ones, but most places carry 1/4" 1/2" 3/4" etc.
I made mine. Cut a circle out of and old fender, already painted. Just seen something else that would work really good. A golf ball marker used to make your ball on the green. They are the right size and the back side has a bevel on the edge just like the one I made so it would fit very flush. It also has a little stud on the back that just plugs right in, just needs paint.
Not for me... May need to open the door that way and don't want to have to screw around with these covers. I might get them if they were just a few bucks but no mods are just a few bucks on these cars. $.02

My car is black so i painted the keyhole black with touchup paint. Now I can use my key, the silver doesnt interupt the color ( most people dont see it until I point it out) and it doesnt look like a plug on my door.
Thanks everybody for the DIY suggestions. I've admired the covers, but always saw them as the ultimate example of Corvette Tax. (Except maybe for the purchased tail light or hood seals)
