Default Wet floor passengers side

I have a 2000 vert.........I noticed I have a wet carpet on the passengers side, only. The dampness appears to be under the rear portion of the floor mat the most. Could it be connected to the A/C? Do I have a computer in this area that I should be getting concerned about? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Tks

two guesses:

I would guess its either leaking A/C condensation onto the carpet because of a problem with the drain hose

or

problem with the heater core

keep us posted on what you find out

A/C, heater core, or depending on the passengers age. If your passenger was under 2 or over 90 and without diapers the results will be the same...

Check your utters for debris...

A/C evaporator drain plug is probably clogged. Put her on a lift and clean it out. It is located under the battery box on passenger side. If you don't have a puddle of water under the car after running the A/C for 5 minutes or so, that is the problem.

I had the same thing happen to me during a run to NYC. My BCM got wet and was fried.

Thanks to C5 Naples, he put me on to Bill Curlee's thread about the subject.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1246715

If you haven't had occasion to run into Bill here on the Forum, suffice it to say, he's FORGOTTEN more about C5's than most of us know.

My problem was that damn L-shaped hose was clogged

Good luck and be sure to put a towel on top of the BSM until you can figure it out
