Lol. Space I have, as soon as I get a lift like yours. Can't you add a second one? I'm sure you can squeeze the H3 under one.
I too, would love to put one of these together. Maybe next year....
(And btw, the car is already light as can be - I'd opt for an ls2 based 388 with 8k redline. )
Dan
Ten-foot ceilings with an H3 means no second lift. Need a different house. SO is so car-crazy now that she says we need to build a new 8-car garage somewhere else and then, oh yeah, attach a house so we have somewhere to sleep.
I have been dreaming of a 427 since I was old enough to reach the gas cap so I'd just need to make sure the meats in the back could handle it . . .

The first time I heard a C5-R in person and running hard was damn near a religious experience. I'm hoping to put a resleeved ls2 in next year...
And on the spousal thing - you are a lucky, lucky man. Mine only tolerates my obsessions and hates loud exhaust. (And yet claims to be a Nascar fan. Heh.)
Oh, and quit dreaming and order the Katech budget 427 already. You so rich anyways... Put that in your red one for the winter project. I'll come up at first thaw to inspect the work.

Pesky forum member red1vette is buying an '02 Z06 this week and is already pestering me to bring it over for mods soon so looks like I'll be wrenchin' on his red C5 rather than mine in the near future.
Course, you're always welcome up here regardless, Dan. Open headers welcome!
GTM-It's a cross between a Ford GT, and a vette.
If I was going to get a kit car, I would actually get a Superformance Daytona Coupe. It's not really a kit car, but a factory built rolling chassis where you can specify which engine /trans package you will install. It's designed for a big block Ford, like a Roush 402 .It's about $60k without the engine, but it's awesome( I know someone who has one), it's, unique, and it will do 0-60 in the 3 second range( low 3's), and it can get up to the 200mph range as well.

I like the looks of the car (if done right,as in the photos), but I'm 6'2", with a bad back, would have to get on my hands and knees to get in....Now, how cool would that look at the car show?
The thing is very low... very very low roofline. The seat is cocked back at an odd angle. It's just not made for people much over 6'.
Actually, they designed it to fit the "American" driver. Someone who is over 6' will sit very comfortably in the car. Read their website, they talk all about the design process. I love the GTM.
That's fairly reasonable for a car that would get a "what kind of car is that!?" reaction from most people. That'd be a cool project if someone had an extra 40 g's laying around.
Good point good luck convincing a bank to finance your GTM super car

I did some checking for you. You can get a good quality lowering kit and slam the H3. Do that along with some gokart chromies and you'll have the room you need for that second lift.

I don't care what that website says... I've seen one in person and looked it all over.. maybe a 6 footer could make it work, but you'd never get a helmet on. Me at 6'4" has no shot.

You need to get around one in person.
I'd love to see one in person... can't find any! I see your point about the helmet though, I didn't think about that... I don't think they did either.
I'm 6'1"... I probably still have a chance... to lower the seat or something
