Turning off codes with tuning software??

The security system is a function of the BCM, and tuning software (other than a TechII), can do nothing for that module.
There are 2 security functions of the pass key...the start inhibit (likely already bypassed when your remote starter was installed), and the PCM fuel cut, which will kill the car at anything more than idle (the job of the PCM), which also may already be defeated on your car..
Setting the Anti-theft feature (pictured above by Patches) to "none" in the PCM will only eliminate the fuel cut, it does nothing to affect the BCM logic, which is the source of your code. The above setting was put into EFI-Live mainly for LSx engine transplants into cars using a PCM, but not using a BCM.
So, the short answer is no, you can't cure the code with tuning software....btw, what code are you getting?
If it only is a matter not recognizing the resistor pellet, there is a way to bypass that by connecting a normal resistor (of the same value as your key) to a couple of wires in the harness that runs to the ign switch...but I'd have to go look at some schematics to tell you exactly.

As many know, this "feature" was used on one of the GM recalls.
Again, the software can only interact with the PCM...this function is just telling the PCM there is no colomn lock, so that the engine can run without the ok signal from the BCM.

btw i dont remember th exact code but it was one of these, possibly two of these
B2721 PASS-Key Detection Circuit
B2722 PASS-Key Detection Circuit
B2723 PASS-Key Detection Circuit
ill have to check once i get my car back i was having the car tuned so i was hoping they could get rid of the codes for me
