Hi I have a 2001 Canadian model roadster. The automatic headlights come on probably 1 hour before sunset. The photoeye that turns on the headlights is too sensitive. On the options button I only have twilight on, I can’t select twilight off. Is there any way to modify this without just pulling some fuse?
Nope, in the Canadian models, you can not turn it off...at least not from the OPTIONS menu, it is some safety feature the government insisted on. There are several bypasses and such you can get for it.
Thankfully mine came with it already done. Just do some searches for Twilight Sentinel and you will find some info on it.
Good Luck.
BTW, if you show the car, you will spend a lot of time telling people that your car does not go 300 mph, and it is in kilometers.

D'oh! Should keep my mouth shut more... ;-) My '98 doesn't even have the blasted option.. (I Kinda liked it..) I'm sure you can get it programmed away at the least... I'd like to see a canadian gauge pod, considering I thought that's why we had the E/M switch...
We have the E/M button too, but on our gauge cluster everything is in metric and it converts it to standard...where the normal one is in standard and converts it to metric.
