Things to check for...
Thanks for the very warm welcome in my earlier thread. I'm starting to really dig this place. 
I do have a question though, I purchased my '00 Vette from Carmax, and it really is in awesome shape. BUT, my parking break doesn't work. So I'm taking it in to get that fixed (I think the tension cable is just shot because I can easily pull it all the way up). My question is, what else should I have them check (or should I check)? The car is 7 years old, and I'd like to catch something now before it becomes a problem.

Check out the search link at the top of the page Kodi. There was a very good write-up on the parking brake about a week ago. It's a common problem but an easy fix. Someone might jump in with that link for ya. The search link is your best friend. There are many How-To's posted by the great members here.
