Great shots...the flames & fire truck look great together...what were the chances that they would just be passing by...thanks for sharing
Thanks... ...The photographer and I were saying the same thing... ...He said he had been wanting to take some shots of a vette at a Fire Station for a quite a while and how lucky it was to have these guys stop by while he just happen to be shooting mine with the flames...
If I ever need the fire department, I hope they send ones like the last two! I think I'll need CPR, just to get the mouth to mouth.
That wasn't a coincidence that they just happened to be driving by. Really, some little old lady saw your car and called 911 to report it burning.
"911 what's your emergency?"
"I wanna report a car fire"
"OK Mamm, we'll send an engine"
"Unit 12 to base, that car isn't actually on fire.....it's just smokin HOT!"
Hey Jim, Great pic's as always but i'm not to sure about those last two Firefighters putting out any kind of fire........They are kind of cute but don't tell em i said so they might get the big head!!!!! IRV
Hey Irv, thanks... ...I think they're probably better at starting a fire than fighting one... ...
Jim,
That must be Lake Sarah! I am thinking about buying a place out there when I retire.
BTW -- how come those two firefighters refused to put the helmets on?
Those are some great pics of a beautiful Vette.
Thanks Steve, I wasn't sure where we were at....we wound around several back country roads to get there....
Those last two firefighters are part of the 'Specialty Hose Handling Team' that doesn't always require the use of helmets....
(Sorry, couldn't resist that one... ...I'm probably going to be in big trouble now)...

Man, the trouble I could get into dissecting this quote. I must be either:
A: Getting older(nowayinhell)
B: Getting wiser(yeahright!)
or C: Dis-liking the taste of sneakers and sweaty socks from putting my foot in my mouth(YOUBETCHATHATSTHEREASON)
Thanks for the laughs Jim, needed that!
Wasn't there a thread showing Jim painting flames on the interior?....Jim, you have the "'Crown Jewel" of C5 Show Cars
Yup, there sure was. Well, having the flames done, not actually doing them himself. It was amazing to see that guy do his stuff. He's truly an artist, for sure.
As for the CROWN JEWEL, I bet you couldn't find 2 people to disagree with that one. His Z is simply AHmazing!
Is the calendar going to be just of your car, or?
Ever enter it into the Snap-on Calendar? You should!! My father-in-law had one of his cars in it last year. Pretty !!
